The aim of the MAXIDRILL Project is the design and development of an underwater intervention device specifically aimed at obtaining high-quality physical samples of the seabed at study depths of up to 180 m and with a nominal water depth of 500 m, as well as the implementation of in situ tests in subsea drilling mode.

The MAXIDRILL Project is based around a new and disruptive concept, an innovative and technologically ambitious product. The new system will have applications in all areas of marine activity, from port infrastructure to nearshore and offshore projects in the field of renewable energy at sea and in the complex market of oil & gas, mining etc.
