The P-S Logging or suspension survey is a low-frequency acoustic probe which can measure compression and rotational wave velocity using indirect excitation. Allows high resolution P & S wave measurement at depths of up to 1000 m. Recommended for soils and soft rocks.

Advantages

  • The source of the rotational high-energy wave has 20 times the power of conventional sonic probes.
  • Measurement of low frequency, more representative in situations related to engineering.
  • Storage of multiple test data.
  • Realtime visualisation of small wave.
